Once Upon a Bot creates personalized children's stories using artificial intelligence. The platform combines GPT-3 for text generation and Stable Diffusion for illustrations to generate unique narratives based on your input.
Upload photos to turn people into story characters, choose from different narrators like wizards, robots, and animals, and adjust reading levels to suit different age groups. The tool supports multiple languages with automatic translation and lets you edit both text and images.
A free trial lets you create stories to test the platform. Paid plans starting at $6.67 monthly unlock unlimited story creation, read-aloud mode, chapter stories, and supporter-only genres like Western, Seuss, Epic, Poem, and Mystery. Export stories to PDF and share them via link.
Parents and teachers use Once Upon a Bot to help children improve their reading skills. Adults learning English use it for language practice. The editing features let you rewrite text and redraw images if the AI's first attempt misses the mark.
Once Upon a Bot works for parents, educators, and anyone who wants to create personalized children's stories without writing or design experience.
The tool serves professionals in education, publishing, and family services, as well as anyone who wants to spark a child's imagination through personalized literature.
Once Upon a Bot is flying under the radar. There's virtually no chatter about the service on major platforms like Reddit. The lack of discussion suggests the tool might be new or hasn't generated significant user buzz yet.
This doesn't necessarily mean the service is good or bad, but potential users will need to do their own direct research. The current internet silence makes it hard to gauge real-world performance or user satisfaction.
Click the "Upload Photo" button when creating your story. The system will ask you to crop your face, then it uses AI to make you a character in the tale. Your face appears on the main character throughout the story. You can upload multiple photos for different characters.
Are my photos and stories private on OnceUponABot?Yes, your photos and stories stay private. We don't share your uploaded images with other users or use them to train our AI. All stories you create belong to you, and only people you directly share links with can view them. You can delete your content at any time from your account dashboard.
Can I use OnceUponABot stories for my classroom or library?Yes. Many teachers use the platform for classroom activities. The free trial works for occasional use, but if you need unlimited stories, you'll want the Commercial License ($19/month) which gives you rights to share the stories publicly. We offer special rates for schools and libraries - just contact our support team for details.
What reading levels are available for the stories?Stories adapt to five different reading levels: Pre-K (age 3-4), Kindergarten (age 5-6), Elementary (age 7-9), Middle School (age 10-13), and Young Adult (14+). You can select any level when creating your story, and even switch between levels after the story is made. This works well for growing readers or when using the same story with different age groups.
What happens if I'm not happy with part of my generated story? You have full editing control. If you don't like certain text, just click on it and rewrite it yourself. Not happy with an image? Use the "Redraw" button to get a new version. You can also add new pages, remove sections, or change character names.
