will ai replace you?
Get your career outlook score based on real data. AI research, 17,000+ job tasks, and employment projections through 2034. See which of your tasks AI can handle, which are yours to keep, and where to focus next.
Apologies for the click-baity title. There's a ton of search demand around “will AI replace X” and I'd rather you land here and get the actual data than read someone's unscientific hot take about how we're all doomed.
After digging through Anthropic's task penetration research and overlaying it with a decade of US labour projections, my honest read is that AI will be a companion to most of us, not a replacement.
But some roles are changing fast, so it's worth knowing where to upskill with AI, and where to double down on the stuff AI can't touch.
Personally, I feel more inspired than ever. I get to turn ideas into real things faster than I ever thought possible, and we're living through genuinely unprecedented times (but maybe we can cool it a bit on the data centres so we don't accidentally kill all life on the planet).
I just like building things. Today it's things online, maybe in 20 years it'll be a log cabin in the woods to avoid technology completely.
