You're also the person keeping the kitchen clean and safe, managing stock rotation, and making real-time calls when something isn't fresh enough to use. The role itself isn't changing much. AI might take some admin work off your plate around menus, but it won't touch the core skills that make you valuable. If anything, restaurants are opening faster than they're closing, so your skills are in demand.
